One is enough to pass the neighbors above by less than 50%, now using them above 40% is risky! This is great in the Xuv and gives my sound system that bass it's been missing and the fact that I can get in and out is really nice without sacrificing more money on amps or anything! The tailgating was great, I recently wore these at a friend's outdoor wedding and they were perfect! ! ! As well as being happy with these and looking forward to welcoming the older and younger brothers as well as new party speakers in the future!

It is also heavy to move. I would like a stand with wheels to hold it up so I can roll it where I want. From what I'm complaining about, it would be nice to have bass and treble adjustments. For a speaker that costs over $400, I don't think it's outrageous. I found that when you use the equalizer on your phone app, it always turns the volume down five stops. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for home speakers that they don't plan on taking anywhere.

The wife hates it but the kids love it, especially when we are cycling with our favorite music and heads spinning. It took me 3 years to get one of these speakers ever since I saw one at a frys store in Burbank CA and told my wife I would buy one of these one day and of course she said no you can't. My wife and I have been in the doghouse (with issues) since I got the speaker, but it's worth it. I would love to buy another one to pair it but it will be in 3 or 4 years or if i never get around to pairing it but thanks jbl you made this guy happy if i can buy another speaker or any product from you even if it means going to the kennel again it's worth it grief. Thanks for keeping them coming.

I contacted JBL customer service and since it was covered by the manufacturer's warranty, I returned the speaker to receive a refurbished one. doesn't work I returned it to get my JBL box 300 from a third party... and guess what, it didn't work. I just want a refund! ! ! This is a product of lemons. I tried to go back to Best Buy because JBL customer service let me know that I could use the code. I went to Best Buy with the code JBL customer service gave me and that code didn't work! I am now returning my 3rd JBL to receive my 4th JBL speaker...don't buy it! ! ! ! ! ! !

Hello, I see that you can connect a guitar to this speaker. Is it also safe to plug in a bass? Second, is the guitar input a typical 1/4" guitar cable jack or do I need a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter? Thank you!

The Partybox 300 turns itself on or off when connected to an iPhone. You cannot change the volume on your device at this time. You have to go to the speaker and turn the volume up or down. This happens quite often. Has this happened to anyone else?

I had a similar problem here, every time I changed the song it would drop the volume to around 50%. every time. It's annoying and I really don't want to regret buying it for that money.

Is the JBL 300 a stereo or mono setup?

The JBL PartyBox 300 is not mono but stereo, that's why it has 3 tweeters, when you put it on the side, only 2 tweeters sound in stereo mode (one on the bottom and 2 on the other side). There's also upright stereo but it's hard to hear unless those 2 tweeters are too close together but the bottom one is off which means only 2 of the 3 tweeters can play at the same time but it depends on placement. of the speakers
